My Football Journey

I stepped into coaching as a teenager — more out of instinct than opportunity — and over time, it’s become the lens through which I see everything.

I’m a UEFA C-licensed coach with over eight years of experience across three continents. I hold a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Liverpool, as well as PFSA Level 2 certifications in Talent Identification and Opposition Analysis. My work has taken me from grassroots football in India to academy systems in the UK, and now into leading player development in the United States.

Wherever I’ve worked — whether it’s with 3-year-olds just discovering the game, or teenagers aiming for pro contracts — the goal has always been the same: to help players grow with clarity, confidence, and intelligence.

My coaching philosophy is built on the belief that players need more than just technical ability — they need to understand the game. I want players who can read situations, solve problems under pressure, and express themselves within a tactical structure. Over the years, I’ve developed a methodology to support this: blending ball mastery with decision-making, cognitive development, and scenario-based training. The aim is not just skill — it's awareness, timing, and purpose.

Along the way, I’ve helped over 10 players sign with professional clubs including Liverpool, Manchester City, Everton, Wigan, and Blackburn, and supported older players as they progressed to NCAA Division II and III programs. I’ve also served as Academy Director and Sectional Director (U11–U19) at Carolina Velocity in the U.S., and previously worked in Liverpool with River Juniors as Head of Girls Football and youth coach for boys — where I also founded ANFC, a private program that developed 30 players individually, many of whom progressed into elite school teams across Merseyside.

I’ve been fortunate to learn from incredible mentors, including UEFA Pro and A-Licensed coaches, former professionals, and technical directors. I’ve studied elite academies like Liverpool and Everton up close, and continue to learn from every session I run. These experiences have shaped my view of development — not as a one-size-fits-all formula, but as a highly individual, constantly evolving process.

What I offer now is a player-first, detail-driven approach: rooted in technical excellence, tactical clarity, and a deep respect for the process of long-term growth. Whether I’m coaching a 10-year-old learning to master the ball or preparing a teenager for the next level, my goal is to challenge, support, and guide them — not just to play the game, but to understand it.

Because in the end, coaching isn’t just about producing better footballers. It’s about shaping adaptable, intelligent players who are equipped to grow on and off the pitch.
